Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform system startup and repairs to component level on Burny Kaliburn equipment.
Assist OEMs with interface of Burny, MVT and Kaliburn and other equipment onto cutting machines
Assist sales team in achieving the sales targets for Asia Pacific
Assist sales team in achieving new market development
Solve installation and troubleshooting problems at OEMs and end user locations.
Repair Burny, AMC and Kaliburn equipment including numerical controls, drives and other products
Provide proper product training to OEMs and training assistance at end users when required.
Interface with customers in a positive and professional manner. Customer are located throughout Asia Pacific including China, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan and other Asia Pacific countries.
Provide technical phone service to customers.
Maintain proper records of work completed.
Assist with technical projects as required.
Assist in-house operations personnel with repair of products and equipment
Expected Travel up to 80%
Submit site reports after completion of on-site visits.
Effectively utilize the Service Department phone logging and database system.
Communicate effectively with design engineers, service team, customer service team and the sales team.
Manage expenses and remain within budget
Other duties as assigned

Ability to balance multiple projects when several are considered "A" projects
Strong problem solving capabilities
Ability to work well with other members of the Burny, MVT and Kaliburn team
High level of integrity and ability to work with little to no supervision
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electronic technology is preferred, or a two year technical degree in electronic technology.
Prior field experience in CNC control equipment, plasma cutting equipment or AC and DC motor controls.
Experience with motion control software and PLC programming is a plus.
Knowledge of computers and Windows XP or XPE is a definite plus.
Applicants must be willing and able to travel both nationally and internationally. Must be able to easily travel throughout all Asia Pacific countries in order to achieve goals.
Must be fluent in Chinese and English
