Job Description: The Learning Specialist must be accomplished and able to perform successfully in the following areas: ? Driving performance through the execution and delivery of all types of training, specifically by supporting new hire/product and policy changes/tools updates and any department specific topic, as business needs dictate. ? Representing training effectiveness to management through training evaluation, analytics, and detailed analysis that pinpoints changes in behaviors, root causes, and successes or opportunities of training interventions ? Provide leadership in all applicable training's ? Consult with Instructional Designers and eLearning Developers to ensure that objectives are met. ? Make recommendations as to the training methodology ? Partner with Leadership to coordinate the scheduling and execution of training ? Ensure all administrative tasks are executed on (i.e. training coordination, materials, scheduling of rooms, rosters, scheduling make-up classes, etc.) ? Be a promoter of our eBay cultural values and our GCX purpose ? Act as a SME and mentor for outsourced partner trainers ? Be creative in ways to modify/improve training delivery to gain efficiency ? Other project and duties as assigned Required Skills and Expertise: Demonstrated business acumen (eBay Policies, process, etc.) Experience working within GCX; strong business subject matter knowledge A proven track record of successfully delivering training (virtual or in-person) Must be comfortable presenting in front of small to large groups Effective communication skills; both verbal and written Must be creative and adaptable to various learning methodologies to ensure transfer of learning Must be able to adapt in a constantly changing environment Deal with ambiguous situations to define requirements and execute for success Must be flexible with schedule to deliver training at various hours or locations English skill requiring fluent communication in verbal and clear communication in written Preferred Skills and Expertise: Experience with training delivery dealing with multiple delivery types: ILT, blended, virtual classrooms (i.e. Adobe Connect or Video Conferencing, etc.) Global or Outsource (External) Partner support experience Demonstrated organization, planning, and project management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong collaboration skills and ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment Solid understanding of learning & development best practices and demonstrated ability to apply in a business environment Multi-task skill which allows different training requests come at the same time and able to prioritize and find the best solution
